Outdoor
Our
Club can boast the reputation of having one of the best greens in
Northamptonshire. Situated in the centre of town
but in a very
secluded and private location.
Our
green holds an "A" certificate.
The
outdoor season runs from 1st May to 30th September each year, though
the first game is often played on the last
weekend of April.
Indoor
The
Club comprises a four-rink green with seating and tables for
spectators at one end of rinks.
The
indoor season officially commences on 1st October and ends on 30th
April in the following year.
Changing
facilities for both men and ladies is available.
There are
special lockers available for junior members.
Prior
to both seasons we start with an Open Week where anyone interested
can come along and try their hand at bowls,
free of charge, on the
respective green.
We are able to provide bowls and only request
visitors to bring flat shoes.
The
car park area beneath the Indoor building has surveillance cameras
linked to viewing and recording equipment
within the Club.
The
Lounge has a licensed bar with a good selection of reasonably priced
drinks.
We
have a well fitted kitchen where catering for matches is undertaken
either by volunteers or a self employed caterer.
Hot
drinks are always available from a machine situated in the central
hallway.
